Construction Repair Specialist

Repair Specialist is responsible for overseeing the construction management of property repairs from beginning to end. Repair Specialist will assist in qualifying and procuring new vendors, contacting brokers, and overseeing the process A to Z.   The Repair Specialist compares bids to ensure they meet the final scope developed. An Arc Vendorm Management, Inc. Repair Specialist oversees multiple projects throughout 50 states to ensure all procedures and protocols are followed and standards of quality are met.

Must possess:

  • Knowledge of construction (preferably single family home)

  • Estimating knowledge

  • Prior experience dealing with Asset Managers and Broker/Agents

  • Computer literacy

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to multi task

  • Communication skills and ability to problem solve

  • Prior experience preferred in REO rehab

  • Obtain, assess, and procure bid documents/bidding opportunities.

  • Prepare bid documents as required

  • Work hand in hand with Broker/Agents and Asset Manager

  • review pictures of progress on regular basis

  • Ensure proper documentation is recorded during the entire lifecycle of the project

  • Track and record correspondence relevant to the project to ensure on time

  • Attend and participate in daily assessment meetings

  • Communicates all issues to management prior to reaching critical status

  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete files for each project; monitor for integrity and completeness.

  • Track Insurance requirements for projects, including vendors and subcontractors.

  • Answer phones, work on the computer, and verbally engage with both internal and external customers

  • Quality control projects

Skills Needed:

  • Microsoft Office & Excel 

  • Quickbooks a plus
